DSPT Events

In keeping with our mission to dialogue with the contemporary culture, we engage the broader community by way of lectures, symposia, and special events that bring together people of many faith traditions and backgrounds.

Blackfriars Gallery Art Exhibits and Performances: The Blackfriars Gallery is a beautiful open space in which we host exhibits of visual art and musical and theatrical performances.

Aquinas Lectures and Symposia: Every year the faculty of the DSPT nominates a scholar to present a paper in which the thought and method of St. Thomas Aquinas are applied to a contemporary issue.

Theology Events: Members of the DSPT faculty present ideas through special, extracirricular lectures at DSPT and beyond and invite theologians from other universities, parishes or orders to discuss important theological issues and how they relate to contemporary society.

Philosophy Events: Members of the DSPT faculty present ideas through special, extracirricular lectures at DSPT and beyond and invite theologians from other universities to discuss important philosophical issues and how they relate to contemporary society.

Advancement Events: The ongoing generosity of our benefactors makes our mission possible and is celebrated at annual events.
