Student Retreat: Fr. Jude Eli, OP - Living the Integration of Prayer & Study

Fr. Jude Eli, OP will be giving several talks based on the theme of integrating our studies of divine revelation and theology with our personal spiritual lives.
Students who attend will also have the opportunity to attend Mass, Confession, and Adoration. Through this retreat we hope to enliven the Dominican charism in us so that our lives may preach the Gospel through the integration of prayer and study.

The evening will conclude with a gallery reception featuring a sampling of artisanal foods from religious communities.

Aquinas Lecture: Dr. Michael W. Tkacz - Albert the Great and the New Aristotelianism: A Turning-Point in the Western Intellectual Tradition

For the 2012 Aquinas Lecture, the DSPT Faculty has invited Dr. Michael W. Tkacz, Associate Professor of Philosophy at Gonzaga University. The presentation will focus on efforts of St. Albert the Great to establish the natural sciences as progressive research disciplines within the academy.
