Cash Gifts -A gift of cash is recorded for tax purposes on the date it is hand-delivered or post-marked. Send your personal check to: DSPT Advancement, 2301 Vine Street, Berkeley, CA 94708

Credit Cards- DSPT accepts VISA, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. To make a credit card gift, donate securely online or call the Advancement Office at 510-883-7159. Be prepared to provide your account number and expiration date.

Stocks-Marketable securities held in a donor's brokerage or trust account may be transferred to DSPT by instructing the broker, trust officer or financial adviser to electronically deliver the securities by DTC to:

Please call (or have your adviser call) the DSPT Advancement Office at 510-883-7159 as soon as possible with the following information, so your generosity may be acknowledged and a receipt for IRS purposes may be issued:

• Your name, address and phone number
• Name(s) of the security(ies) being transferred
• Number of shares (stocks) or face value amount (bonds)
• Approximate current market value of the securities
• The name, address and phone number of your adviser

The official value of your gift will be the average of the high and low quotes on the day the securities are received in the DSPT account. Normally, a transfer will take place within two or three business days. An acknowledgement for IRS purposes will be mailed to you within a few days following the delivery of the security(ies).
