I work as a counselor in San Francisco's Chinatown for a family resource center
that serves families of children ages 0-5. Virtually all my clients are immigrant
parents from China. I conduct monthly parenting workshops for them and connect
them with community resources. I am also the coordinator of a coalition of
16 community agencies aimed at raising the economic self-sufficiency of Chinese
immigrant families in Chinatown.
In my spare time, I am involved in my parish
in El Cerrito -- St. Jerome Catholic Church, as a lector, choir member and
adult catechist.
