The Vice President of Administration and Student Services is responsible for the spiritual, social, and student
governance areas of the co-curricular environment. In this capacity, the Vice President serves the DSPT community by representing student concerns
to the administration and faculty, and by overseeing School policies, procedures
and services. The Dean is available to assist students in building community
through social activities, planning and implementing liturgies, and initiating
discussions about common concerns. The Dean of Student Affairs also assists
students in obtaining counseling services and/or spiritual direction, if desired.
In terms of DSPT’s relationship with the other two Catholic Schools
of the GTU, the Vice President regularly meets with his
counterparts to develop, plan and execute various Tri-School events. It is
in this consortial relationship that the Tri-School Housing Coordinator and
the Tri-School Director of Career Planning are also managed from this office.
