DSPT accepts applications on a rolling basis for most programs. The Admissions Committee meets several times each year to review applications.
Concurrent MA, MA Philosophy, MA Theology, and MDiv - Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Deadlines forFall 2014 areFebruary 5, March 5, April 2, and May 7. Early applications for Fall 2014 are encouraged. Those applying for DSPT scholarships/grants for Fall 2014 should file their admissions application by the March 15 scholarship application deadline, though late applicants may be considered for scholarships/grants.
GTU Common MA - Applications must be submitted to the GTU Admissions Office by February 1 (for Fall applicants) or September 30 (for Spring applicants). Although the GTU does not require an academic writing sample, it is recommended that those wishing to affiliate with the DSPT submit one directly to the DSPT Admissions Office.
MTS - Applications for Fall 2014 should be submitted by April 1. Please note that a personal interview with the MTS Faculty Coordinator is required. MTS applications are not accepted for the Spring semester. For more information, please contact the DSPT Admissions Office.
Special Student status and Certificate of Theological Studies - Applications are accepted up to the start of each semester (September 2 for Fall 2014). This is a good option for late applicants or for those not yet sure of their program of interest.
Scholarships and Grants - For Fall semesters the deadline is March 15. For Spring semesters the deadline is November 1 (Note: Admission applications should be submitted prior to these deadlines).
