The Tri-School Career Advistor, Clare Ronzani, offers a range of vocational services and career development to DSPT students. Alumni may also access some of these services. You can contact Clare at . Tri-School career services include two basic areas: workshops and individual career sessions.

Career Workshops and Panels

Career development workshops, designed to provide assistance with planning and implementing a job search, including resume writing, research, networking and interviewing, are offered on a regular basis. Clare Ronzani also hosts panels in which DSPT alumni and other professionals the opportunity to share their experience in career paths related to philosophy and theology, such as teaching and ministerial postitions.

Three workshops are scheduled for Fall 2012 semester: 

• September 19, 1:30-3:00 p.m. at JST: An Overview of the Career/Job Search Process 
• October 2, 7:00 p.m. at JST: Panel of Alums representing various career paths (You are invited to 5:15 community liturgy at JST and/or soup supper at 6:15.) 
• November 7, 1:30-3:00 p.m. Job Search Specifics, including resume-preparation

Career Advising

Clare is available for individual career sessions as you sort out possibilities, reflect on vocational/career choices, work on resumes and other specifics, etc. Some of this can be done via email when necessary.

Clare is generally on JST campus Tuesdays and Wednesdays for in-person sessions, and other times by arrangement.

Job Announcements

Selected job opportunities are posted on JST's website , along with links to other websites with further career information. Diocese of Oakland job openings are also posted on the ASDSPT blog . Contact to recieve additional job announcements by e-mail.

Part-Time Opportunities

Students are sometimes interested in part-time employment to help finance their education or to gain more experience in a field related to their studies. The Career Advisor also circulates part-time job announcements and is available for advising about possible opportunities that match students' skills and interests.

Alumni Networks

Alumni networks are forming to cultivate professional development and to offer mentoring to current students. We are launching a LinkedIn Group for the DSPT Community. More information will be posted soon.
