Advancement Assistant

Hours:
Approximately 10-15 hours/week
Reports to:
VP for Institutional Advancement
Schedule:
Tuesdays; Fridays; other flexible hours
Job responsibilities:
  • Maintains Raiser’s Edge for all DSPT donors.
  • Manages all aspects of gift administration/ processing including the timely entry and acknowledgment of all contributed income, establishing and maintaining a gift coding system, generating pledge reminders and financial reports, and the fulfillment of member benefits.
  • Interfaces with GTU Accounting to develop and maintain quarterly reconciliation between accounting and Raiser’s Edge.
  • Generates monthly, quarterly and annual reports regarding fundraising progress.
  • Generates donor lists as requested for special event invitations.
  • Assists with all annual appeals by producing direct mail appeals, promotional materials, etc.
  • Assists with the schedule of development activities, providing timely reminders of upcoming deadlines.
  • Participates in additional special projects as assigned, including special events, fundraising, and general administration.
