This first seminar introduces students to:the metaphysical relation between the infinite God and the finite world in the tradition of Aquinas, establishing the context for a discussion of the interpretive nature of human knowledge of God and the world (esp. the dynamic of analogous language for God);
II โ Application of Theological Interpretation (3 units - Fall 2011, 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on the following Saturdays: Sept 10-24, Oct 8-22, Nov 5-19 and Dec 3) How are interpretative methods used in key areas of theological study?
