On April 20-22, 2016, Fr. Bryan Kromholtz, OP, participated in a meeting of the Permanent Commission for the Promotion of Study for the friars of the Order of Preachers. The nine-member board advises the Master of the Order and assists with the coordination and planning of the intellectual life of the Order. The nine-member commission, chaired by the Socius for Intellectual Life, fr. Michael Mascari, is made up of a friar representing the Regents of Studies of each of five regions of the world along with three members appointed directly by the Master. As the Coordinator of the North American region (USA and Canada) of Regents of Studies, Fr. Bryan has served as a member of the Commission since 2011.
