Covid-19 General Information and Updates

CARES Act Information

We provide here links to important external resources related to the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on DSPT, GTU, and Alameda County, CA residents, and businesses. We encourage all members of our DSPT community to stay well informed about the current internal and external requirements.

In order to ensure the ongoing safety of our DSPT community, we will be moving forward with online instruction, with the exception of the MDiv program which will be offered in a hybrid mode of both in-person and online courses for Fall 2020. Read the letter from Fr. Peter Rogers, OP, President

The DSPT campus is closed to public access unless otherwise specifically scheduled by an authorized staff member. Following the regulations of Alameda County, DSPT has created and disseminated to all staff and employees the Site-specific Protection Plan (SPP). As indicated in this plan, ALL DSPT STAFF AND FACULTY must complete and submit to John Payne the C-19 Employee Self-screening Form each time before you arrive at the DSPT campus.

Anyone on the campus must enter through the Arch Street entrance (near the mailbox) and wear a face covering. There is no entry through the Vine Street doors. Upon entry, you must either wash your hands in the restroom adjacent to the entrance or use hand sanitizer. Both face masks and bottles of hand sanitizer are located on the table to the left of the entrance.
