Presented by Therese Scarpelli Cory, University of Notre Dame.
The philosophical debate about the existence of non-physical or immaterial substances is seemingly endless. But it is not so easy to say what exactly it would mean for something to be "immaterial." I propose a concept of immateriality, drawn from Aquinas's philosophy of mind.
Professor Cory will be a special guest at Anselm Ramelow, OP's Seminar course, Personal Identity, on Wednesday, February 14th, 9:30 - 11:30 am.
