Medina and Athena - Restoring a Lost Legacy

Part 1 of Our Common Heritage Series Presented by Hamza Yusuf

Both Catholic and Islamic thought draw from a common ancient philosophical tradition, interpreted during the Middle Ages. This Common Heritage Series is part of a new partnership between Zaytuna College and the Dominican School of Philosophy & Theology which will bring faculty and students together in an exploration of this shared heritage.

Hamza Yusuf, Founder, and President of Zaytuna College is a leading proponent of the classical liberal arts in the Islamic and Western traditions. He has taught courses on Islamic jurisprudence, ethics, astronomy, logic, theology, prophetic biography, and hadith, as well as other subjects.
