New Graduate Student Orientation

2019 Orientation Agenda

Tuesday, August 27th  - Hosted by DSPT for students admitted for Fall 2019 at 2301 Vine Street, Berkeley

At Orientation, you will meet DSPT staff, learn about school procedures and services, and tour the campus.  Lunch will be provided allowing for time to speak with faculty and current students in a more relaxed setting.  As a group, new students will visit the GTU offices to get your student ID card and attend a library and Moodle orientation.

General Registration

New Student Registration:  Monday, August 26 - Friday, August 30.  All registration is web-based via Populi.

DSPT students must meet with their Faculty Advisor prior to registration so be sure to make an appointment before or during the Orientation Week.  Students in DSPT degree programs must submit a completed Student Initial Self-evaluation Form to their Faculty Advisor prior to or at this meeting.

Navigating Requirements for the MA Programs

Students admitted into a DSPT MA program should plan on attending the Navigating Requirements Workshop by Fr. Chris Renz, OP, which will be offered at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, August 28th.

Student Handbook

All of our school policies are explained in the Student Handbook, in particular, our FERPA release of student information and our Campus Safety and Security policies.  Please familiarize yourself with the Student Handbook prior to Orientation.
