Plan a Visit
Choosing a graduate program is no light matter. Whether your curiousity is piqued or you're a serious applicant, a campus visit is often the best way to engage the programs and people of DSPT. We invite you to experience our community in which your mind and voice will be valued in a communal quest for wisdom.
DSPT is located in a safe, residential, college town neighborhood from which you can enjoy all the San Francisco Bay Area has to offer while your studies flourish. The Bay Area is recognized as one of the most vibrant cultural communities in America.
Get the most out of your visit
- Meet with professors in your area of interest

Annual “See DSPT” Visitors Week
DSPT hosts an annual “See DSPT” visitors week, which is intended to provide an extensive “deep dive” in to the academic and communal life at DSPT. Students are asked to register for the event and are provided with a personalized itinerary which guides their visit over three days. Experience a wide array of classes in theology and philosophy, join our students for meals, and see the beauty of historic St. Albert Priory and the Bay Area. For early registrants, we're able to provide travel stipends for flights and lodging. The event is held in early Spring, so be sure to contact Admissions today to receive more information on our next See DSPT. See you there!
When I heard the Director of Admissions speak at a recruitment event, my heart was touched by such enthusiasm for DSPT. We stayed in touch and arranged meetings with professors in line with my academic interests. My visit to the campus was essential for my final decision. - Landon Key, MA Theology
