Reel Religion - the Bible, movies, and the Blackfriars Gallery movie poster collection, a Wise Habits event
In support of our mission at DSPT, preservation efforts are underway to ensure that this rare Blackfriars Gallery collection of biblical posters can be used to enrich the ongoing conversation on the role of religion, cinema, and faith in contemporary culture. Fr. Chris Renz, OP, Director of the Blackfriars Gallery, will host Professors Richard Lindsay and Ryan Parker, GTU alumni and former students of the late Fr. Michael Morris, OP, in a discussion about the posters and the many facets of this project.
